Choral Invitational

Workshop: 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Concert: 8:00 - 8:30 p.m.
Come make music with the choirs of Western Hills High School and learn how you can become a part of these choirs in 2011-2012!
The Choral Invitational is for seventh and eighth grade choir students. The event will consist of a workshop and performance with the Western Hills Choirs. Students will get the opportunity to work with the director, Mrs. Marsh,
get to know other choir students and the choral program at Western Hills.
Our goal is to keep students involved in choral singing through the transition from middle school to high school. We have great opportunities for students and want to ensure that they sign up and stay involved at Western Hills.
Students need not prepare anything prior to coming to Invitational. We will teach them all they need for the performance that evening. And the event is free to attend.
Schedule:
4:00-4:15 7th & 8th Grade Student Registration
4:15-5:30 Introduction & Rehearsal
5:30-5:35 Break
5:35-6:00 Sectionals with student directors
6:00-6:45 Dinner Break/Games (dinner provided by the WHHS Chorus Boosters)
6:55-8:00 Rehearsal
8:10-8:30 Free Concert with performances by WHHS Advanced Chorale and WHHS Choirs and Bondurant chorus members
