Due dates: January 18 Februray 15 March 15 April 19 May 24 Current event clippings from newspaper, magazines, flyers, etc. that deal with arts issues. Read the article, clip it out and write a summary (at least two paragraphs) of the article explaining what it is reporting and how it relates to this class. About Arts and Humanities is a course for students interested in gaining historical knowledge of all the arts. Throughout this class the students will study the fine and performing arts: dance, drama, music, and visual art. They will look at the arts through different time periods and learn how to criticize it.
