Due dates: August 20 September 17 October 15 November 19 Current event clippings from newspaper, magazines, flyers, etc. that deal with arts issues. Read the article, clip it out and write a summary (at least two paragraphs) of the article explaining what it is reporting and how it relates to this class. About Arts and Humanities is a course for students interested in gaining historical knowledge of all the arts. Throughout this class the students will study the fine and performing arts: dance, drama, music, and visual art. They will look at the arts through different time periods and learn how to criticize it.
