Focus on Fundraising 2013-2014
Fundraising this year will be a huge focus for all of the plans for the choral program.
This year we are purchasing new concert dresses for the women of the WHHS choral program. And we are also taking the Advanced Chorale to the Sing 'n' Joy international competition held at the end of November. These two items in addition to our yearly operating expenses will make it a challenge to meet, but one we can certainly achieve!
In previous years when we've had big plans for our students, such as sending the Women's Chorus to KMEA for the conference performance, purchasing posture chairs for the classroom, and funding the M2 vocal lesson program, fundraising had been a great success thanks to the hard work of students and parents. Your efforts are always appreciated and directly impact student work in the choral ensembles.

Fundraiser In-Lieu-Of Program
The Western Hills Choral Boosters have placed the option for parents/students to opt-out of fundraising. Our booster organization understands that many are overburdened with several organizations to fund raise. We have given this opportunity for any who would like to contribute, but not participate in two of our fundraisers. The "In-lieu-of" amount is $100.00 and takes the place of participating in the following fundraisers:

Taking the "in-lieu-of" option does not mean the student may not participate in the fundraising. Students and/or parents are welcome to participate in any of the fundraisers in addition to donating the "in-lieu-of" amount.
