One of the most exciting events of the year is the KMEA All-State Chorus. All-State is competitive and difficult to be selected. Each student must learn the All-State audition piece (announced in the fall of each year) and audition as part of an a cappella quartet. Sight-reading is also part of the audition.
The All-State Chorus event is held each February during the Kentucky Music Educators Association Convention in Louisville. Students are selected to be in one of three choruses, Mixed (SATB), Women's (SSA), or Men's (TTBB). *Kentucky Center Handling fee will be added to cost.
